The Queen Alexandra Foundation for Children is a community resource for many Vancouver Island agencies focused on the needs of children and youth. We fund programs, projects and equipment for a variety of charities through the generosity of our donors. COMMUNITY GRANTS – THE COMMUNITY GRANTS PROCESS IS UNDER REVIEW AND NO APPLICATIONS ARE CURRENTLY BEING ACCEPTED. PLEASE WATCH THIS WEBSITE FOR UPDATES. For more information, click here. Youth Advisory Council (YAC) Grant Application: The YAC distributes $4000 in grants twice a year to youth organizations that run youth initiatives. Click here for more information (deadlines February 18 and October 22). Strategic Investment Initiatives Fund (SIIF) Grants: This is a one-time only, $2 million fund that has been used to support strategic investments in child, youth, family and community services on Vancouver Island.
