Planned Giving

Thoughtful Legacies for Children and Youth

You can include the health of children and youth as part of your personal financial strategy.

Through the Queen Alexandra Foundation's Planned Giving Program, you can fund long-term programs that benefit children, youth and their families on Vancouver Island. We invite you to ensure the best possible future for children by considering a planned gift to the Foundation.

The Foundation is able to receive many types of planned gifts including both outright and deferred gifts.

Outright gifts are gifts made to the Foundation that are received on completion of the gift form. They include gifts of:

  • Cash
  • Securities
  • Real estate
  • Certified cultural or other tangible property
  • Life insurance policies or annuities
  • Endowed named funds (these may be pledged)

Deferred gifts are gifts made now but received in the future by the Foundation. They include:

  • Charitable bequests (naming the Foundation in your Will)
  • Charitable remainder trusts
  • Gifts of life insurance proceeds

If you would like to learn about any of our programs or services, or would like a confidential, complimentary and personal consultation on ways to give, please contact:
